North Coast Ceramics respectfully acknowledges the Bundjalung people as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we create, connect, and gather, along with the Arakwal, Minjungbal, and Widjabul Wia-bal Peoples, who are custodians of specific regions within the Bundjalung Nation.

We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and that we are on stolen land. We honour the Bundjalung Nation’s Elders—past, present, and emerging—and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who engage with our community, events, and creative practices.

As ceramic artists, we gather in a place where one of the world’s longest continuous cultures of oral storytelling, material wisdom, and artmaking flourishes. We commit to learning from and working alongside these traditions with humility and respect.
